From the well known Rosenblum family, Kent Rosenblum presents Rock Wall Winery. Staying true to the original Rosenblum cellars, Rock Wall excels in Zins. This Saturday September 26th the winery is opening up to the public (only the second time) from 12PM-5PM. Sample current and new releases from seven wineries that produce Rock Wall, as well as appetizers from Angela's Bistro. UWX IV: The 4th annual "Urban Wine Experience" is happening Saturday August 8, 2009 from 2PM-5PM. At the Meadow at Jack London Square, indulge in fourteen different wineries partnered with restaurants, or food purveyors. Some of the participants include Rosenblum Cellars, Two Mile, JC Cellars, Levende East, Whole Foods, Bucci, among numerous others. JC Cellars is hosting their annual beach party on Sunday July 19, 2009 from 1PM-4PM. The cost of entry is $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Admission includes a souvenir wine glass, sampling of over 12 different wines, light bites, Trucker's Syrah & Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, and a DJ spinning classic summer tunes. The East Bay Style Collective presents: Fashion, Food & Wine. Does it get any better? My favorite things all accessible in one location. This unique affair will be held in the Gourmet Ghetto area in Berkely at North Shattuck and Vine, on Saturday July 11, 2009. The food and wine tasting is from 6p-8p, and the fashion show is from 8p-9p. The cost for the fashion show is $10 per chair, and goodie bags will be given out with the first 75 chairs sold (love the swag bags).
